HeatLens – Delete your data

HeatLens has no accounts. Most of its data never leaves your phone, and you can delete it there yourself. The only data we receive is usage statistics, and only if you agreed to send them. Below is how to delete each kind.

1. Stop sending usage statistics

If you also want statistics already sent to be deleted (step 2), first copy your Statistics ID: it is shown in Settings under Share usage statistics, and a tap copies it. Turning statistics off erases it.

  1. Open HeatLens and go to Settings.
  2. Turn off Share usage statistics.

From that moment nothing more is sent. The app also discards events not yet sent and forgets its random installation identifier. Uninstalling the app has the same effect.

2. Delete statistics already sent

Send an email to support (at) heatlens (dot) app with the subject “HeatLens data deletion” and your Statistics ID. The statistics contain no name, email address or account, so the ID is how we find exactly your data.

No ID (e.g. statistics already turned off, or the app uninstalled)? Write anyway, with your phone model and Android version, the model of your thermal camera and roughly when you used the app. We will delete everything that matches.

We will delete all statistics matching your installation within 30 days and confirm by email.

Deleted: all usage statistics of your installation: feature use events, diagnostics (errors, phone and camera model, app and Android version) and the random installation and camera identifiers.
Kept: nothing. Your email to us is deleted once the request is handled.
Automatic deletion: even without a request, all statistics are deleted 12 months after they were collected.

3. Delete data on your phone

We have no access to this data, so there is nothing to delete on our side.

HeatLens – Usuwanie danych

HeatLens nie ma kont. Większość danych nigdy nie opuszcza telefonu i możesz je tam usunąć samodzielnie. Jedyne dane, które do nas trafiają, to statystyki użycia, i to tylko za Twoją zgodą. Poniżej opisujemy, jak usunąć każdy rodzaj danych.

1. Zatrzymanie wysyłania statystyk

Jeśli chcesz też usunąć statystyki już wysłane (krok 2), najpierw skopiuj Identyfikator statystyk: jest w Ustawieniach pod Udostępniaj statystyki użycia, a dotknięcie go kopiuje. Wyłączenie statystyk go kasuje.

  1. Otwórz HeatLens i przejdź do Ustawień.
  2. Wyłącz Udostępniaj statystyki użycia.

Od tej chwili nic więcej nie jest wysyłane. Aplikacja usuwa też zdarzenia czekające na wysłanie i zapomina losowy identyfikator instalacji. Odinstalowanie aplikacji daje ten sam efekt.

2. Usunięcie wysłanych już statystyk

Wyślij e‑mail na adres support (at) heatlens (dot) app z tematem „HeatLens usunięcie danych” i swoim Identyfikatorem statystyk. Statystyki nie zawierają imienia, adresu e‑mail ani konta, więc to po identyfikatorze odnajdziemy dokładnie Twoje dane.

Nie masz identyfikatora (np. statystyki są już wyłączone albo aplikacja odinstalowana)? Napisz mimo to, podając model telefonu i wersję Androida, model kamery termowizyjnej i przybliżony okres korzystania z aplikacji. Usuniemy wszystko, co do tego pasuje.

Usuniemy wszystkie statystyki pasujące do Twojej instalacji w ciągu 30 dni i potwierdzimy to e‑mailem.

Usuwane: wszystkie statystyki Twojej instalacji: zdarzenia użycia funkcji, dane diagnostyczne (błędy, model telefonu i kamery, wersja aplikacji i Androida) oraz losowe identyfikatory instalacji i kamery.
Zachowywane: nic. Twój e‑mail usuwamy po załatwieniu sprawy.
Automatyczne usuwanie: nawet bez prośby wszystkie statystyki są usuwane 12 miesięcy po zebraniu.

3. Usunięcie danych z telefonu

Nie mamy dostępu do tych danych, więc po naszej stronie nie ma czego usuwać.
